Corrugated Board

Corrugated Board has two main components. The linerboard is the flat paper that makes up both sides of the board and the medium is the fluted paper in between the liners.

    Single Wall

  • Two sheets of linerboard with a corrugated medium in between.

    Double Wall

  • Three sheets of linerboard with two corrugated mediums in between. This configuration provides extra padding for stacking of heavier items.

    B Flute

  • B flute - 3mm thick. B flute is the most common type of fluting. Provides a good balance pf strength, usability and cost effectiveness. Eg. E commerence cartons

    C Flute

  • C flute - 4mm thick. A thicker board for better stacking strength. Eg. egg cartons

    E Flute

  • E flute - 1.5mm thickness. Provides a flatter surface for better printing effects. More compact and saves storage space. Eg. Pizza boxes

    F Flute

  • F flute - 1.2mm thickness. Provides an eco-alternative to solid chipboard. Use 50% less wood for a similar thickness and feel of 750gsm chipboard. We are one of the very few manufactures in the region to produce this.

    A Flute

  • A flute - thickest type of flute. Most commonly used in Peninsular Malaysia

    BC Flute

  • BC flute - a combination of 5 layers of paper in B and C flutes for extra protection and cushioning

    BA Flute

  • BA flute - 5 layers of paper for better protection. Commonly used in Peninsular Malaysia

    BE Flute

  • BE flute - an improved alternative to C flute. Better strength, better printing effects while using less fibre. Not many manufacturers with this capability.

    EF Flute

  • EF flute - gaining popularity in Europe for its environmentally friendly characteristics. Feels as thick as an 1800gsm chipboard at 30% of its weight. One of the special products of Far East Packaging
